Dr DefanI is an eminent academic, internationally recognised and experienced in environment, climate change, global sustainability and management. Her expertise as a trainer, auditor and assessor in environmental issues has enabled her to develop and implement environmental strategies, policies and action plans leading to sustainable pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy for many public and private sector institutions. Her extensive academic and consultancy work has enabled her to positively engage and contribute to sustainable progress and future developments.
She is member to many professional institutions including the American Geophysical Union (AGU), Association of American Geographers (AAG), American Association for Geodetic Surveying (AAGS), UK Climate Impact Panel (UK CIP) and the Royal Geographical Society (RGS). Dr Delany is also a local councillor with excellent language skills, global networks and proven track record on environmental strategic business developments. He is extremely polite, approachable, honest, energetic with creative and articulate interpersonal skills and works well with individuals and teams at all levels.
