Satish Visavadia is a Professor of Education with a PhD in Education. He is an entrepreneur, Lecturer and a Director with vast experience in further and higher education, teaching, management and commercial business, both in United Kingdom and overseas. In his early years, he trained and qualified as a mechanical engineer. He Later achieved his master’s degree and PhD and qualified as a teacher and higher education lecturer. He acquired his post graduate teaching degree at the University of Northampton, also higher levels at University of Warwick, Institute for Marketing, Technological University of the Americas and European Global School. Over many years, he has been teaching, lecturing and training at a higher education level, supporting students at all levels.
Professor Satish’s extensive global work in education and corporate business sector has enabled him to travel, work and be part of many professional organisations, networks and institutions with award of memberships to many prestigious professional and institutional bodies. These include fellow membership of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), associate fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, fellow member of the Australian Institute of Management, associate fellow member of the Australian Marketing Institute and member for the Institute for learning. Also, member and distinguished fellow of the International Institute for the Chartered Education Practitioners (IICEP), fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Administration and Technology (RICAMT) and fellow of Chartered International Educational Practitioners UK (CIEPUK). In 2015, he was honoured as a professor of education by TUA and later also honoured as a Professor of Marketing and Communications by Yavneh Hills University, South Africa. He has been a participating member of the African Research University’s Association (ARUA). He was appointed as the Vice Chancellor (Hon) of Technological University of the Americas (TUA) in 2021, working with Professor Dr. Hubert Rampersad, a globally renowned academic, author and philanthropist. As part of this, he is also involved with the European International University (Paris) supporting post graduate students with academic, lifelong experiential and knowledge based blended and academic teaching and learning. Professor Satish also holds several professorships.
